We created SmartROI Consulting when we saw a need in the small business and non-profit marketplace for inexpensive professional CMS website design and marketing that could make any size organization competitive with those who have much larger budgets.  We took our combined years of experience with large firms and researched ways to make this happen, then developed processes that we have proven to be very effective.

Another thing that we saw was the need for straight talk.  When we would be at events speaking on the topic of search marketing, we would frequently run into business owners who did not even know what they were getting for their money.  Indeed, it is very well known that there are a lot of "snake oil" salesmen in the industry, and it seems that some of the larger companies spend more effort on selling their product than making their product better.

ELIJAH E. LITSCHER

Elijah Litscher is a specialist in online marketing and is a student in the strategy of powerful CMS web design.  Most recently Eli was Director of Business Development with Network Solutions, a company well known internationally for their domain name and hosting services.  As part of the seminar circuit, Elijah has educated thousands of small business people on topics he is an authority on, including Search Engine Optimization, E-Commerce, Social Media Implementation, and Paid Search Strategies.  Eli has passed the certification test for the Google AdWords Authorized Reseller program and has been recognized in 2008 as their G-RISE contest winner.  His prior experience includes online marketing for major sites such as CareerBuilder and SBC/AT&T Yellow Pages.

Eli graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in Marketing and minors in Sociology and Political Science.  In his free time, Eli enjoys competitive sports, playing music, and outdoor activities.  His experience as a returned Peace Corps Volunteer has also given him an appreciation for the non-profit sector, which has led him to volunteer regularly.
